Photo report

Environmental NGOs welcomed an official declaration from the Polish government on halting construction works on Natura 2000 sites will not start until a final European Court of Justice judgment on the case. Unfortunately, Polish government failed in providing arguments for speeded procedure (decision available in French and Polish), what means that final judgment can be expected within the next two years.

At the same time polish government continue works outside Natura 2000 and in case of ECJ judgment on its failure to comply with EU legislation, Poland would have the most fancy roads for mushroom pickers in the world.
