Photo gallery of unique nature in danger

Unique sites and species which can still be seen in the Podlasie region (north-east Poland) along the route of the Via Baltica expressway currently proposed by the Polish government. Some of these sites and species will be damaged directly, while others will lose their great value because of construction works and the impact of international road traffic. There is still time to change the routing decision.

We are very grateful for the support already of thousands of Polish supporters, including photographers who have provided us with these beautiful pictures. We hope to gather wider international support in order to protect our heritage.
